Wakarusa Maple Syrup Festival 5K Run/Walk and Maple 1 Mile Run/Walk
This event is a set of community running and walking events held on April 25, 2026 at NorthWood Middle School, 301 North Elkhart Street, Wakarusa, IN 46573. The program includes multiple race options and a combo entry that covers both distances.
Distances offered:
- 5K Maple Syrup Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk for ages 4 to 12
- 1 Mile Competitive Run/Walk for ages 13 and older
- Combo entry covering both the 1 Mile and the 5K
Packet pick up is available the evening before the event and on race day at NorthWood Middle School; Friday night pickup is encouraged to reduce race day delays. T shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by April 4, 2026; shirts after that date are first come, first served. A no shirt option is available for a reduced fee.
Participant rules note minimum ages for each event and that all participants must be registered. Strollers are permitted; bikes, scooters, skates, and similar devices are not allowed. Pets are not allowed except for certified service animals. Chip timing is provided by Watts My Time. Parking is available at NorthWood Middle School and Wakarusa Elementary School.
