What the event includes
The Resolution Run is scheduled for January 1, 2026 in Middlebury, Indiana (46555). It is the 12th edition and benefits the Middlebury Food Pantry. The event takes place at the Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center, 240 US 20. Distances offered:

Entry details: early individual entry for the 5K is $18 and family entry is $40. The mile entry is $14. Shirts are optional for an additional $16. Registration prices increase after December 7, 2025. Both events are open to ages 5 and older.
Course, logistics and awards
Both courses start and finish at the Essen Haus Inn and use the Pumpkinvine Trail and Ridge Trails. The 5K course is described as basically a triangle and is run on path sections that are protected from traffic. The starting line is on Wayne Street; the finish is on a path behind the Essen Haus. Onsite packet pickup and registration are at the Essen Haus on race day. Ample parking is available at the venue.
The 5K is a timed event with finisher treats and age-group awards. Timing is provided by THTIming.com and results are posted to the event website; participants may opt in for texted finish times. The mile is untimed and has finisher treats but no placement awards. Post-race refreshments and awards are provided in the conference area.
