Wagging Tails on the Trails
Wagging Tails on the Trails is the fourth annual trail running event held on February 6, 2027, at Pepper Park Riverside on Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce, Florida. The course is a scenic loop that passes through mangroves and coastal hammocks along the Indian River Lagoon.

Race registration includes an event t-shirt, finisher medal, chip-timed race bib, and finish line treats for dogs. A long-sleeve shirt upgrade is available. A No Shirt No Medal registration option is offered; that option does not include the event shirt or finisher medal but remains eligible for awards.
The event is dog friendly. Dogs must be leashed, friendly, and non-aggressive. Water bowls will be available at water stations and in the expo area. All dogs that cross the finish line receive a special treat. Attendees are required to clean up after their pets and bring waste bags. The Kids Puppy Dash is free for children 10 and under, and each child receives a cupcake at the finish line. A youth event shirt may be purchased during registration for $10.
