Wagging Tails on the Trails
Wagging Tails on the Trails is the fourth annual trail event held at Pepper Park Riverside on Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce, Florida. The event offers scenic loop courses that wind through mangroves and coastal hammocks along the Indian River Lagoon. Registration packages may include a commemorative event T-shirt, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and the option to upgrade to a long-sleeve shirt. Finish line treats are provided for participating dogs.
The event is dog-friendly. Dogs must be leashed, well-behaved, and non-aggressive, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Water bowls are provided at hydration stations and in the expo area. A No Shirt / No Medal registration option is available; participants choosing that option remain eligible for division awards. A Free Puppy Dash is offered for children ages 10 and under; each child finishing the Puppy Dash receives a cupcake, and a youth event T-shirt is available for purchase during registration for $10. Virtual participation is available as an alternative to on-site runs. Registration fees vary by event and option, including free entry for the Puppy Dash.
