Wagga Race Series 2026 - Race 1
The Wagga Race Series returns for 2026 at the Riverside Precinct in Wagga Wagga. This event is the first in a two-part series, followed by a second race in November. Participants traverse a flat course along the Murrumbidgee River and the scenic Wiradjuri Walking Track.
The event offers several distances to accommodate different goals:
- Half Marathon (21.1 km)
- 10 km
- 5 km (The Daily Advertiser 5 km)
- 2 km (Family Dash)
All finishers receive a series-themed medal, a finisher's certificate, post-race snacks, and sponsor giveaways. Registration for both dates in the 2026 series includes an event t-shirt. The venue at the Riverside Precinct provides a central location for the start and finish of all distances.
Bib collection occurs on the morning of the event at the race site. Participants may transfer their entry to another person or change race distances up to three days before the event. There is also an option for registration as a gift. Volunteers are utilized across various roles, including registration and course support, and receive event merchandise for their assistance.
