The Wadsworth Half Trog Fell Race takes place on Sunday 9 November 2025. The organiser is Calder Valley Fell Runners. The published venue is Mount Skip Hebden Bridge Golf Club, Great Mt, Wadsworth, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, HX7 8PH. Entry opens Monday 13 October 2025 and closes Friday 7 November 2025. Minimum age is 18 on the event date. Entry fees listed are £5.00 for FRA members and £7.50 for non-members. The entry list shows 17 participants so far.

Course and requirements

The route is a shorter version of the full Trog and includes varied fell terrain with possible muddy sections. Distance and climb are given as 9.3 miles (15 km) with approximately 1400 ft (420 m) of ascent. The course is only partially flagged, so navigation skills are required. The event is licensed by the FRA under UKA rules.

FRA mandatory minimum kit is compulsory. Required items include waterproof full body cover with taped seams and an integrated attached hood, a hat (not a buff), gloves, map, compass, whistle, and emergency food. A mandatory kit check takes place before race numbers are issued. There are regular shoots on the moors; recce on a Saturday is not permitted.
