About the race
The Wade Mountain Marathon is a trail running event in Huntsville, Alabama held on October 18, 2026. The event offers three distances and takes place on low-traffic trails managed with conservation in mind. Average late October temperatures are listed as 49F to 73F.

Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026 at the RunningLane store, 2407 Memorial Parkway SW Suite 1, Huntsville, AL 35801, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Late packet pickup will be available on race morning.
Cutoff times are applied: an 8 hour cutoff for the marathon and a 6 hour cutoff for the half marathon. The event is expected to run rain or shine, but severe weather or land trust restrictions may cause delays, course changes or cancellation to protect the greenspace.
