Organized by RunningLane Events, the race utilizes the trail systems at Wade Mountain.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:

Course Details and Logistics
The marathon course has an overall time limit of 8 hours. Marathon runners must reach the 14.8-mile mark by a specific time to continue the race. The half marathon distance has a 6-hour time limit. The event is held on low-traffic trails and generally proceeds regardless of rain, although the Land Trust reserves the right to alter or cancel the event if heavy rain threatens the sustainability of the greenspace.
Registration includes a hooded sweatshirt, a finisher medal, and a post-race meal featuring grilled hamburgers and drinks. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at a local running store in Huntsville, with a late pickup option on the morning of the event. Awards are presented to various age groups ranging from under 19 to over 70, as well as overall male and female winners and masters categories for all three distances.
