Wade Mountain Marathon : Huntsville, AL
Wade Mountain Marathon is a trail running event in Huntsville, Alabama, held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 10130 Spragins Hollow Rd NW. The event offers three distances and uses low-traffic trails that will be used rain or shine unless severe weather forces a delay, course change, or cancellation at the discretion of the land manager.

All race entries include a hooded sweatshirt, a finisher medal, and a post-race meal. The course has aid stations but the event is cupless; participants must carry a handheld bottle, pack, or reusable cup. A reusable cup is available for purchase for $5 during checkout. Cutoff times are in place: an 8-hour cutoff for the marathon with a midway checkpoint around 14.8 miles, and a 6-hour cutoff for the half marathon; progress will be monitored at aid stations.
Packet pickup is handled by the race operator at their local store prior to race day, with limited late pickup available on race morning. Lodging near the venue is commonly arranged at Monte Sano State Park, approximately a 15 to 20 minute drive from the race site.
