Waco Run Tour - Battle of the Badges
The Waco Run Tour - Battle of the Badges is scheduled for January 31, 2026 in Waco, TX. The event is the second annual Battle of the Badges and is race number 1 of the Waco Run Tour. It includes a half marathon, a 5K, and a 1 mile fun run. The event features a competition between the Waco Fire and Police Departments; registrants choose which team to support. Race proceeds will benefit Waco Professional Firefighters - IAFF 478 and The Waco Police Association.

Logistics and policies
Entry prices listed on the event page are $50 for the half marathon, $30 for the 5K, and $20 for the 1 mile fun run. Early packet pickup is available Friday, January 30 at Waco Fire Station 1, 100 Peach Street, Waco, TX 76706. The event is rain or shine; in the event of severe weather participants will be transferred to a virtual 5K option with the ability to run and submit their own time. No refunds will be given for any reason. If a registrant is unable to attend, their registration payment will be contributed to the event beneficiaries. All participants receive a dri-fit t-shirt. The first 500 participants will receive medal #1 of the Waco Run Tour series; the series medals stack together to complete the series logo.
