Waco Police Memorial Run
The Waco Police Memorial Run takes place on May 9, 2026, at Redwood Shelter in Cameron Park, 2300 Cameron Park Dr., Waco, TX 76708. The event commemorates officers killed in the line of duty and recognizes the daily commitment of officers to the community and Nation.
The event consists of a chipped 5K run or walk. Two registration categories are listed: an open 5K and a Police Officer Only 5K for active or retired officers.

Awards are planned for overall male and female winners. Additional medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. The Police Officer Only category will receive medals for the top male and female officer finishers.
Registration opens February 9, 2026 and closes March 16, 2026; the listed registration fee is $35.00. The event is hosted by the Waco Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association with assistance from Pro-Fit Race Timing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
