Waco Police Memorial Run
The Waco Police Memorial Run is held each year to commemorate officers killed in the line of duty and to recognize the daily commitment of officers to the community and Nation. The event is described as a family fun event and consists of a 5K run or walk at Redwood Shelter, Cameron Park, 2300 Cameron Park Dr., Waco, TX 76708.
The race will use chip timing. Two registration categories are listed: a general 5K and a Police Officer Only 5K for active or retired officers. Registration opens 02/15/2027 and closes 03/22/2027; the registration fee is $35.00.
Awards include medals for the overall male and female winners and medals for the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. In the Police Officer Only category, medals will be awarded to the top male and female police officer finishers.
