About the race
Wabash Run The River takes place on June 5, 2027 at Friendship Hill Park and uses the nearby Wabash River Trail. The event is chip timed and follows river corridor scenery, with routes set on mostly paved trail and about one mile of crushed gravel on the half marathon course.

Cash prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers in each distance, with prize tiers for first, second, and third places. Youth participants 17 and under are eligible for youth pricing but are not eligible for cash prizes. Team registrations are available.
Event logistics include packet pickup the day before and on race morning, timing mats along the course, four water stations, and restrooms at each water station. A chip timer provider is listed for official timing. Strollers are allowed and children in strollers participate free of charge. Event muscle tanks and a finisher medal are provided; tanks are guaranteed for registrations before May 1 and are adult sizes, with any excess available on a first come first served basis on race day.
The event is scheduled rain or shine. The county emergency management director monitors weather for safety and the organizer does not offer refunds due to advance purchase of support resources.
