Wabash Run The River
The Wabash Run The River takes place on Saturday June 6, 2026 in Wabash, Indiana. The event is centered at Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground near 410 S Carroll Street and follows sections of the Wabash River Trail along the Wabash River. It is a chip timed event managed by Crossroads Event and Timing.
Runners and walkers may choose from the following distances:
- 13.1 miles Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The course is mostly on paved trail with a short section of crushed gravel on the half marathon route. There are turnaround flags and timing mats on the routes. Four water stations are located along the courses, and restrooms are provided at each water station. Free parking is available in several locations near the start area.
Packet pickup and day of registration occur at Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground, with an additional packet pickup on the Friday evening before the race. All participants will receive a finisher medal. Strollers are allowed and children in strollers are free. Youth runners age 17 and under have a separate youth price and are not eligible for cash prizes.
Cash prizes are offered to top male and female adult finishers in each race. The event is held rain or shine; weather is monitored and the organizers may cancel for safety. No refunds are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
