Tree Trail Trot
The Tree Trail Trot is a 5K trail run held on the gently rolling, wooded trails of Salamonie Lake in an Indiana state park. The course begins and ends at the Wildlife Management Pond near the modern campgroup at the Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area. The event will use chip timing.
All ages are welcome. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Friendly dogs are allowed on a six foot or shorter leash. Strollers are discouraged because trails are semi-rugged and include a short section with steps.
Registration information listed for the event includes an entry fee of $20.00, registration opening 11/8/2025 at 08:00 and closing 4/5/2026 at 00:00. Day of registration will be open through 8:00am the morning of the event. Race participants are granted free entry into the state park.
A pancake breakfast will be served free for participants, with a suggested free will donation requested from the public. Freshly picked sweet corn will be available for purchase during the event. Proceeds from the event support the Friends of the Upper Wabash Interpretive Services, Inc. to fund events, education, and the Interpretive Center.
