About the race
The VoAAC Boxing Day 5K is scheduled for 26 December 2026 in Aylesbury, running around the town centre with start and finish in the Market Square and High Street area. The race is open to runners aged 12 and over.
The course consists of one lap of the Market Square followed by two laps of Aylesbury town centre and finishes on the High Street. The route will be clearly marked and marshalled. The event is held on a combination of public roads and footpaths.
Race headquarters is at Aylesbury Methodist Church on Buckingham Street. The building is used for registration, race number collection and toilet facilities. A designated bag storage area will be available at Race HQ but it will not be manned and items are left at the owner’s risk. Refreshments are hoped to be available at Race HQ but this is to be confirmed.
Safety measures include use of pavements where possible, crossing roads only when safe, and following instructions from the Race Referee and marshals. Personal listening devices are prohibited and dogs are not allowed on the course. First aid cover will be provided by ALR Training Ltd. Ample parking is available in nearby public car parks. Entries are covered by a UK Athletics licence and the course has a SEAA Certificate of Course Accuracy SEAA 23/319.
