The VoAAC Boxing Day event takes place in Aylesbury on 26/12/2025, centred on Buckingham Street and the Market Square. The programme includes a main 5K race and a junior race for participants born on or after 27/12/2013.

Course and race details
The 5K comprises one lap of the Market Square followed by two laps of Aylesbury Town Centre, with the finish on the High Street. The route is marked and marshalled and uses a combination of public roads and footpaths. Minimum age for the 5K is 12.
Facilities and safety
Race HQ is at Aylesbury Methodist Church on Buckingham Street. Toilets are available at Race HQ. Bag storage is provided at Race HQ but is unmanned and items are left at the owner’s risk. First aid cover will be provided by ALR Training Ltd. Runners are asked to take care if surfaces are icy or slippery, to use pavements where appropriate, to cross roads only when safe, and to follow instructions from the Race Referee and marshals. Wearing personal listening devices is prohibited. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
Prizes and entry
All finishers receive a commemorative medal. Prizes are awarded to the top three men and women and medallions are given for multiple age categories including junior and veteran groups. First claim VOAAC winners receive club trophies. Entry fees include a junior fee of £5; main entry shows a standard fee with a £2 discount for affiliated UK running club members who provide a URN. Car parking is available at nearby public car parks including Exchange Street, Friars Square multi storey and Coopers Yard.
