About the race
Humanity Direct Amersham Ultra is a one-day endurance event based at Dr Challoner’s Grammar School in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, set in the Chiltern Hills. Runners and walkers can choose from three distances: 50km ultra, 25km half ultra, or a 10km option. The route winds through the Misbourne and Chess Valleys, mostly on footpaths and bridleways with a little road, and is fully recced and clearly marked.
The event is fully supported with on-course staff, medical cover, checkpoints with food and water, toilets and showers, and post-race refreshments plus finish-line photos and a finisher’s medal. Entries can be funded or entered for free through fundraising, with 100% of donations supporting Humanity Direct’s medical work for children.
