Event Overview

The Hundred Hills 50km is a 50km trail ultra marathon taking place in the Chiltern countryside. The event starts and finishes at Stonor Park, an 850-year-old estate.

Course Details

The route consists of two different 25km loops, with approximately 4000ft of elevation gain. The terrain is described as 80% trail and 20% road. The course passes through picturesque villages and ancient woodland. It is fully marked with ribbons and arrows.

Event Support

There are 5 fully stocked aid stations along the route. Medical support is provided by a dedicated team, including static first aid at the finish and roving teams on the course. A medal is awarded to all finishers, with the option to refuse it and have a tree planted instead. Additional prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, as well as winners of various age categories.

Participant Information

The entry fee is £78. The overall time limit is 9 hours, with additional cut-offs on the route. Registration, the start, and the finish are all located at Stonor Park (RG9 6HF). Participants must carry specific mandatory gear, including a waterproof jacket, a survival blanket, a charged mobile phone, and a water-carrying capacity of at least one litre.
