Hundred Hills 50km
The Hundred Hills 50km is a 50 km trail ultramarathon through the Chiltern countryside that uses two different 25 km loops and is based at Stonor Park near Henley-On-Thames. The route gains about 4000 ft of climb, passes through ancient woodland and picturesque villages, and is composed of roughly 80% trail and 20% road. The course is fully marked and a GPX file and map are provided.
The event has a 9 hour overall cut off with additional intermediate cut offs at aid stations. There are five well stocked aid stations offering items such as gels, chews, Tailwind, Gu, water, soft drinks, fruit, nuts, sweets, biscuits, sandwiches and savoury snacks including vegan and gluten free options. Medical support includes a static first aid team at the finish and at least one roving medical team on course. All finishers receive a medal and prizes are awarded to the first three men and first three women plus winners in age categories M40, M50, M60, M70 and F40, F50, F60, F70. The published entry fee is £80 (£82 for unaffiliated runners) and the field is listed as 600 starters; entries open on 5 April 2026. Pacers and crew are not permitted. Parking is available at the start and finish and a finish line bag service is provided for those arriving without a vehicle.
Mandatory kit must be carried at all times and is subject to checks; required items include a fully charged mobile phone with the race medic and race director numbers, water bottles or a bladder with at least 1 litre capacity, a 1.4 m x 2 m survival blanket, a waterproof jacket with sealed seams and minimum 10000 mm rating, a whistle, and a long sleeved base layer or fleece kept dry.
