About the Event
The Berko 10km is a 10 km guided trail running event held in the Chiltern Hills near Berkhamsted. The route explores the woods and paths of the area, starting near Berkhamsted Castle ruins, and includes historic World War I practice trenches. Run leaders provide guidance and local historical facts during the run.
Event Details
The event takes place in the morning and finishes around 11:00. Registration is from 8:15 to 8:45. The start and finish location is Berkhamsted Football Club. Parking is free on-site. The nearest train station, Berkhamsted, is a five-minute walk away.
Facilities and Logistics
Available facilities include toilets and a bag drop. The event is dog-friendly for participants using cani-cross equipment. The organizer groups participants by ability and recommends that runners are able to run 5 km non-stop.
Included with Entry
