Virginia-Highland Summerfest 5K 2026
The Virginia-Highland Summerfest 5K is a community road race held on June 6, 2026, in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood of Atlanta. The start location is Lanier Blvd and Virginia Ave. The routed course winds through tree-lined, historic streets; the official course map will be posted by April 1, 2026. The event is chip timed and serves as an official AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
Event apparel is a premium Bella and Canvas T-shirt. Registrations received after May 31 may not receive the preferred shirt size. Race packet pickup is available before the event at the parking lot at 1017 N Highland Ave NE in Virginia-Highland; participants may pick up for others with a QR code. Saturday pickup provides race bibs only and t-shirts are distributed at the end of the race.
Awards are presented to overall male and female winners, masters male and female winners, and winners across 15 age groups. Age group categories range from 10 and under through 75 and older.
The festival also includes a Tot Trot for children ages 1 to 5. The Tot Trot offers free registration for the first 150 registrants and has limited spots for safety. Proceeds from the 5K support the Virginia-Highland Civic Association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
