Ville to Ville Coastal Relay
The Ville to Ville Coastal Relay is a team relay across the South Carolina Lowcountry, spanning roughly 68 miles from Summerville to Mount Pleasant. The route passes through historic Charleston, barrier islands, and marshland, and finishes with a view of the Cooper River.
Each team of 3 to 6 runners completes 12 relay legs, with individual legs ranging 3–9 miles. Teams are supported by a race vehicle that shuttles runners to and from designated transition points. All runners must be 21 or older. Team categories include Open Co-ed, Open, Open Female, Masters, Masters Female, and Masters Co-ed with specific composition and age requirements.
Team registration is currently sold out and a waiting list is available for a $35 fee. Only one person per team should register for the waiting list. The waiting list closes on September 6, 2026 and teams will be notified of their status by September 8, 2026; waitlist deposits will be fully refunded if a spot cannot be offered. Team payment options include a $300 deposit or full payment of $775; teams paying only the deposit must pay the remaining $475 by July 15, 2026 or forfeit their spot and non refundable deposit. A 5.5% processing fee applies to online payments. Changes to team members after October 11, 2026 incur a $25 fee. Final team pace, team name, and guaranteed shirt sizes are due September 8, 2026.
A packet pickup and welcome reception is scheduled the day before at Holy City Brewing in North Charleston and at the starting line on race day. The event is rain or shine and the race director may modify the course or event for safety or by state restrictions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
