13th Annual Cocoa Cup 5K
The Cocoa Cup 5K is a community running event on December 19, 2026, at Brown Family Park at Nexton in Summerville, South Carolina. Organizers offer a main 5K and a one mile kids run. Hoover Automotive Group is listed as the presenting sponsor.

Registration opens September 15, 2026 and closes December 18, 2026. The 5K has a registration fee of $45 and the kids run is free; registration is mandatory for the kids run. Packet pickup is available in the days prior to the event at local Fleet Feet locations and on the morning of the event at the race site.
The 5K participants receive a commemorative hoodie, a complimentary cup of hot cocoa, and additional participant items. The event will proceed rain or shine and the organizer does not issue refunds. Strollers are permitted and participants are asked to leave pets at home for safety and comfort.
Race day programming includes holiday themed activities such as a holiday costume contest and a photo booth offering pictures with Santa, Mrs. Claus and elves. An awards presentation follows the 5K. Proceeds from the event benefit East Cooper Community Outreach, The Lowcountry Food Bank and The Navigation Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
