13th Annual Cocoa Cup 5K

The Cocoa Cup 5K is a community holiday running event on December 19, 2026 at Brown Family Park at Nexton in Summerville, South Carolina. The event offers two distances and family-oriented activities.

5K run
1 mile Kids Run Ages 12 and under

The 5K entry includes a commemorative hoodie, a complimentary cup of hot cocoa, and additional participant goodies. The kids run requires registration. The event is held rain or shine and organizers do not issue refunds. Strollers are permitted and participants are asked to leave pets at home for safety and comfort.

Race day features a holiday costume contest and a photo area with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and elves. Packet pickup is available the Thursday and Friday before the race at Fleet Feet retail locations and on race morning at the event site under the Fleet Feet tents. Hoover Automotive Group of Summerville is the presenting sponsor. Proceeds benefit East Cooper Community Outreach, The Lowcountry Food Bank, and The Navigation Center.
