13th Annual Cocoa Cup 5K

The 13th Annual Cocoa Cup 5K takes place at Brown Family Park at Nexton in Summerville, South Carolina. This seasonal running event includes two primary distances:

5K Run
One-mile Kid's fun run (for ages 12 and under)

Participants in the 5K receive a commemorative hoodie and a free cocoa cup. All runners can enjoy a cup of hot cocoa at the finish line. The event proceeds benefit several community organizations, including East Cooper Community Outreach, the Lowcountry Food Bank, and The Navigation Center.

The event features various holiday activities, including a holiday costume contest where participants are encouraged to wear festive attire. A photo booth is also available for pictures with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and elves. The race is held rain or shine, and the course is stroller friendly. For the safety of all participants, pets are not permitted at the event.

Packet pickup is available at local running stores in Mt. Pleasant and Summerville on the two days preceding the race, as well as on-site on race morning.
