The Twelfth Annual McElveen Cocoa Cup takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Brown Family Park at Nexton in Summerville, SC. The event features these distances:

Registration for the events opens September 15, 2025. The 5K entry fee is $40; the kids run is free. Registration is mandatory for the kid's run.
Logistics and race day details
The 5K participants receive a commemorative hoodie and a free cocoa cup. Race day activities include a holiday costume contest and a photo booth with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The event is held rain or shine and there are no refunds. Strollers are allowed; pets are not permitted.
