Viking Sports 5K and Fun Runs
This event on April 12, 2026 takes place at Brookline High School in Brookline, MA (66 Tappan Street). The day includes multiple running options and an activity zone on the field at Cypress Street. The activity zone will move indoors if it rains.
Distances offered:
- 5K, for ages 9 and older; chip timed; registration fee $30.
- 1K, for ages 9 and older; registration fee $20.
- Fun Runs, age-based races for ages 8 and younger on the grass; registration fee $7.
Each race starts and finishes on Davis Street at Brookline High School. The 5K route and the shorter 1K route run from Davis Street to Cypress Street, then left onto Harvard Avenue. Runners reach a turnaround at the TJ Maxx area and return down Harvard Avenue to the finish on Davis Street.
