VFW District 21 Auxiliary Color Run
The VFW District 21 Auxiliary Color Run on Saturday, May 29, 2027 is a community 5K run/walk held at VFW Post 10429, 1000 Stevens Drive, Benbrook, TX 76126. The event is organized to bring awareness to suicide prevention, and proceeds will benefit a nonprofit that provides services to veterans and first responders.
The course starts and finishes at VFW Post 10429. Participants cross Stevens Drive onto Lakeview Drive, enter the Benbrook Lake Park entrance, and run along the park with views of Benbrook Lake. A water station and restroom facilities are available at the 1 mile marker. Runners continue to a clearly marked halfway turnaround and return to the finish for a total distance of 3.1 miles.
T-shirt policy: registrations made by April 30 include a T-shirt; registrations from May 1 onward do not include a shirt. Additional T-shirts can be pre-ordered by April 30 for $15. Shirts will be available for purchase on race day for $15, but sizes and availability are not guaranteed.
Registration pricing changes by date: $20 through September 30, 2026; $25 October 1 through December 31, 2026; $30 January 1 through February 28, 2027; $35 March 1 through April 30, 2027; $40 May 1 through May 28, 2027 with shirt not included; $45 on race day.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, May 27 and Friday, May 28 at Luke's Locker, The Shops at Clear Fork, 5255 Monahans Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76109. Participants who register after May 25 can pick up race packets on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
