35th Annual Reindeer Run/Walk : Charleston
The 35th Annual Reindeer Run/Walk is a family-oriented, pet-friendly 5K run/walk held in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, with a focal location at 141 Meeting Street. The event is presented by The Charleston Place and Half Moon Outfitters.
The event has grown over the years from a few hundred participants to record attendance of over 3,500 runners. Proceeds benefit the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in downtown Charleston, which features an expanded neonatal intensive care unit, a dedicated floor for pediatric cancer care, and what is described as the most comprehensive pediatric heart center in South Carolina.

A costume contest returns with categories for Adult Individual, Child Individual, Group, and Dog. The top three finishers in each category receive prizes and gift cards from restaurants and attractions in the Charleston area.
Packet pickup is available Friday, December 11 at Half Moon Outfitters - West Ashley (94 Folly Rd Blvd, Charleston, SC 29407). Limited packet pickup is available on race morning; participants are encouraged to use the Friday pickup when possible.
Race awards use gun time for overall awards and chip time for age group awards. Parking is recommended in one of the city parking garages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
