Charleston Itty Bitty 50
The Charleston Itty Bitty 50 is a point to point ultrarun of 50 miles in Mount Pleasant, SC held on December 20, 2026. The event is the fifth edition and the 100 mile option is not on this year's schedule.
The course begins at the end of the West Ashley Greenway and finishes at the Park West track and field in Mount Pleasant. The route passes over the Ashley River Bridge, past the Citadel and Hampton Park, around the Charleston peninsula, over the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, through Mount Pleasant's Old Village, around Sullivan's Island and across the Isle of Palms before following the IOP connector and Hwy 17 North to the finish. The route is point to point and may be run during day or night depending on individual pace.
This is an unmarked, open road course with no scheduled aid stations or course markings. The event is self supported; participants are responsible for their own fueling, pacing and transport to the start and from the finish. There are commercial stops and public parks along the route that runners may use for resupply. Crewing by friends is permitted. No event transport back to vehicles is provided.
Registration opens February 14, 2026. There are 75 spots, a waitlist will open after those spots fill, and registration closes on December 11. Entry requires a $30 donation to cover a tracker rental; there are no refunds or bib transfers. Finishers complete one final lap around the track to record the last 400 meters as a separately timed 400 meter event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
