Charleston Itty Bitty 50 - December 20, 2026
The Charleston Itty Bitty 50 is a point-to-point, self supported 50 mile event in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The course is unmarked and runs on open public roads; there are no scheduled aid stations or course markings. Runners must arrange their own support and transportation to and from the course.
Registration opens February 14, 2026, and the field is limited to 75 entries; a waitlist will open after those spots fill. Registration closes on December 11. Entry requires a $30 donation intended to cover the cost of a GPS tracker; any remaining funds or donations go to a memorial fund. There are no refunds or bib transfers.
The route begins at the end of the West Ashley Greenway and travels through central Charleston and the surrounding islands, including the Ashley River Bridge, the Charleston peninsula and Hampton Park, the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, Mount Pleasant’s Old Village, Sullivan’s Island, the Isle of Palms, and the IOP connector, before finishing at the track and field at Park West in Mount Pleasant. Finishers complete a final lap around the track; the last 400 meters are timed as a separate 400 meter event.
This will be the fifth running of the Charleston Itty Bitty 50. The 100 mile event is not on the schedule this year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
