The Veterans Day 5K & 1K takes place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, in Fairfax, VA at Fairfax Corner, 11895 Grand Commons Ave. The event includes the following race options:

- Military 5K
- 1K Fun Run
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual Military 5K
- Virtual 1K Fun Run

Race details
Packet pickup is available at =PR= Fairfax. All pre-registered participants receive a commemorative race shirt, a race bib, a medal, photo overlays, and a digital finisher certificate. Race photos are free to download after the event when the bib is visible on the front of the outfit.
The live race will be timed by Commonwealth Race Management using the ChronoTrack B disposable tag system. Results will be available immediately after the live race and posted on the event results page.
Awards in the live race will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additional awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups from 14 and under through 80 and over. There are no awards for virtual entrants.
