2026 Riverbend 5k & 10k
The event offers two distances that run through Riverbend Park in Great Falls, Virginia. It includes an in-person race and a virtual race option for participants who cannot attend on site.

The course is an out and back trail route. The 5k follows the trail with some challenging hills; the 10k is two laps of the 5k course. Five water stations are placed along the 10k at approximately mile markers 0.85, 2.25, 3.1, 3.95, and 5.35. Two water stations are on the 5k at approximately mile markers 0.85 and 2.25. Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located near the visitor center. Parking is available at Riverbend Park (8700 Potomac Hills St, Great Falls, VA).
Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (drifit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before November 23; extras may be available after that date on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees listed are: 5k $30 until November 15 ($35 after), 10k $45 until November 15 ($50 after); prices increase by $5 on race morning. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered.
Live results are posted on Athlinks with a race QR code for immediate viewing; final results with series points appear on the organizer’s website after the event. The race benefits Warriors Ethos. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to top finishers in specified age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
