Vero Beach Octopus Ultra - July 11-12, 2026
The event takes place at 255 Live Oak Dr., Vero Beach, FL, with the race base located on the grounds of the Environmental Learning Center (ELC). A portion of event proceeds will be donated to the ELC. Sponsors listed include TrailToes and LMNT. The organizer notes there are long sections with no water access and that South Florida summer heat can create additional risks; organizers may remove participants from the race at any time for health concerns.

The course uses a centralized base station with eight out-and-back "Octo-Arms." Completing all eight arms within 32 hours earns the Octopus Buckle. The event gives all distances a 32-hour cutoff window. Leaving the course for any reason is treated as a DNF. Crew support is not mandatory but is described as highly recommended; for first-time 100 mile attempts an experienced crew is required. Links to each arm are provided by the organizer.
