The Vero Beach Octopus Ultra takes place on July 11-12, 2026, in Vero Beach, Florida. The 100-mile finishers who complete all eight Octo-Arms within the 32-hour time limit earn a buckle. While not mandatory, having a support crew is highly recommended due to long sections without water access and the challenging summer conditions.
Conditions and Requirements
The race takes place in South Florida during July, which involves high temperatures, humidity, and specific terrain challenges. Organizers note that the 100-mile distance should not be a runner's first attempt at that distance, and strong caution is advised for all participants.
