Ventura Marathon & Half Marathon (Ventura, CA)
The Ventura Marathon and Half Marathon take place in Ventura, California on February 22, 2026. This is the 12th edition of the event and both races are point-to-point courses that run from the Ojai area to Downtown Ventura. The event listing states the full marathon has been a strong Boston Marathon qualifier in past years. Entry windows list prices and age eligibility: the marathon fee is $181.90 (includes $11.90 fee) and the half marathon fee is $160.50 (includes $10.50 fee); both events are open to ages 10 to 99 and prices increase after January 14, 2026.

Course and weekend details
The full marathon route begins in Ojai and finishes in Downtown Ventura at Mission Park. The half marathon uses the Ojai-Ventura bike path and is USATF certified. Event weekend includes an expo and packet pick-up at Mission Park, plus a pre- and post-race festival in Downtown Ventura featuring exhibitor booths, post-race waffles, and craft beer.
