Ventura Marathon
The Ventura Marathon is a road race that finishes in Downtown Ventura, California, with race activities that include a pre and post race festival in the downtown area. Course details:
- Full Marathon: starts in Ojai, finishes in Ventura, drops about 900 feet.
- Half Marathon: starts south of Ojai, uses the Ojai-Ventura bike path, drops over 500 feet.
The half marathon is USATF certified. The full marathon route travels from the town of Ojai into the coastal city of Ventura and is described as a gently downhill course with net elevation loss.
