Ventura Marathon : event details
The Ventura Marathon takes place in Ventura, California on February 22, 2026. The event is listed as the 12th edition and offers two distances open to ages 10 to 99. Entry fees shown on the event page are $171.20 for the full marathon and $149.80 for the half marathon. Distances:

Course and festival
Both races are point-to-point downhill courses. The full marathon starts in Ojai and finishes in the beach town of Ventura, with an overall drop of about 900 feet. The half marathon starts just south of Ojai, follows roads and the Ojai-Ventura bike path, drops over 500 feet, and is USATF certified. The full marathon has been highlighted as a top Boston Marathon qualifier and the event page notes no Boston Marathon time penalty.
