Event Overview
The VanderDash is a community running event held in Dunwoody, Georgia, with the course starting at 1877 Vanderlyn Drive. This event serves as a fundraiser to support students, teachers, and staff at Vanderlyn. Distance Options
The event features multiple participation levels to accommodate different interests:

- 1 Mile Fun Run: A shorter distance for participants.
Race Logistics
The 3.1 Miles (5K) race is a certified Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race qualifier. For participants in this distance, bib number pickup takes place in the school gymnasium on the morning of the event. Registration is available electronically via QR code on the day of the race, with payments accepted by credit or debit card only.
Registration and Participation
Participants who register by February 14, 2027, receive a race shirt as part of their entry fee. Specific registration categories exist for current students and community members. Students are registered under their teacher's name to participate in a class competition, while parents and other relatives register as community members.
