VanderDash : March 21, 2026
VanderDash is a community event held on March 21, 2026 to benefit Vanderlyn Elementary School. Proceeds support students, teachers, and staff, and help fund playground and classroom improvements and school programs. The event marks the 17th year of support for the school.
Race events
- 1 Mile fun run : entry fee $25
- 5K (chip timed) : entry fee $30

Registration and fees
Registration opens January 5, 2026. A race shirt is included for entries registered by February 15, 2026. A Family Sponsorship is available for $150; it includes five entries, five race shirts, the family name on the race website, and a yard sign. The Family Sponsorship donation is tax deductible to the extent of the law.
When registering, current Vanderlyn students should be entered under their teacher’s name. Parents and other relatives should register as a “Parent/Community Member.” Participants registered under a teacher’s name incorrectly may be disqualified from the class competition.

The event takes place at Vanderlyn Elementary School Gym in Dunwoody, GA. Sponsors are listed at multiple levels, including Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Friend of VanderDash, with several local organizations named. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
