About the race
The Vancouver Spirit Run is a cross country and trail running event presented by TRIGATE PROPERTIES GROUP and sanctioned by BC Athletics. It takes place at Jericho Beach Park in Vancouver, BC, with the start area located on a large grass field just off the beach. There is onsite parking, both free and paid.
The course begins on grass and moves onto trails composed of crushed gravel, bark mulch and grass. The event typically includes a short fun run and a range of youth, open and masters races; the 2026 course will follow the gravel paths. The organizers include a series of straw bale obstacles on the course.
The event supports British Columbia high school and university athletes through charitable donations and scholarships and is part of the Lower Mainland Cross Country Series. Prize money for Open/Senior and Masters categories is listed for top finishers.
