Vancouver Pride Run & Walk
The Vancouver Pride Run & Walk is an annual event organized by Vancouver Frontrunners, one of Canada's largest and longest-running 2SLGBTQIA+ sports organizations. The 2026 event is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Stanley Park with start and finish near Second Beach.
The event offers two main courses:
- 5 km run or walk toward Burrard Bridge and back along the English Bay seawall.
- 10 km certified course; sanctioned by BC Athletics and a qualifying race on the Canadian athletics calendar.
The event is family-friendly and open to all ages and fitness levels. Participants often wear colourful and festive outfits to show support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
In 2025, 1000 people registered and participants and supporters donated more than $20,000 to 2SLGBTQIA+ charities including ARC Foundation, Out in Schools, and Rainbow Refugee. The event receives support from local organizations, including the City of Vancouver, and attracts participants from across the Metro Vancouver region and beyond.
