Vancouver Pride Run & Walk 2026
The event takes place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Ceperley Park Playground, Stanley Park Drive, Vancouver, BC. It is hosted by Vancouver Frontrunners and organized by community volunteers for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, friends, and allies. A land acknowledgement for local Indigenous nations is included.
Distances offered:
- 10 km BC Athletics certified and qualifying course.
- 5 km running and walking course with a turnaround near HMCS Discovery.
Both courses follow much of the Stanley Park seawall. The 10 km route includes an unpaved stretch along the north side of Lost Lagoon. Chip timing is provided and results are posted after the event. Pre-race package pickup is available on July 24 and July 25 at Forerunners on Main (3889 Main Street near 23rd Avenue); race-day pickup is also provided. A bag check and a secure bike corral are available, with a capacity for 75 bicycles.
Accessibility notes state that participants using mobility aids may take part, while specialized racing wheelchairs cannot be accommodated safely on the shared park routes. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted when placed in the last start wave. The event does not provide participant medals and t-shirts are available only for the first 650 registrants. The event supports several local 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations through fundraising activities and presents a code of conduct that prohibits discrimination and harassment.
