Tall Tree 10K
The Tall Tree 10K is the inaugural race taking place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park, centered at the Filter Beds parking lot. The course is presented as flat and scenic, circling Elk Lake.
The event distance is 10 km on lakeside trails and forested paths among tall trees. The route includes about one kilometer adjacent to a highway, which may produce local traffic noise. The race is timed; entries receive a race bib with a timing chip and official results are provided.
Registration packages include an exclusive Tall Tree x Outway performance sock, a finisher medal that is an edible cookie, post-race snacks, and race timing. Race package pick-up is available the Friday and Saturday before the event at Tall Tree Health Cordova Bay, with on-site pick-up on race morning for out-of-town participants.
Kattia's Kitchen will be on site serving Mexican favourites. All proceeds from the Tall Tree 10K are donated to the Redd Fish Restoration Society, which since 1995 has partnered with nuučaanuł Nations to restore aquatic habitats by combining scientific methods and Indigenous knowledge.
