Tall Tree 10K, Elk/Beaver Lake, Victoria
The inaugural Tall Tree 10K takes place on September 13, 2026 at Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park, at the Filter Beds parking lot. The event features a 10 km loop on a flat, scenic course that passes through forested areas with tall trees and along lakeside trails. The route includes approximately one kilometre exposed to highway noise.
Registration starts at $50 plus taxes. Registration includes race timing and official results, a timing tag on the race bib, an exclusive Tall Tree x Outway performance sock, a finisher medal presented as an edible cookie, and post race snacks. A local food vendor, Kattia's Kitchen, is scheduled to serve Mexican dishes on site.
Race package pick-up is available the days before the event at Tall Tree Health Cordova Bay, and package pick-up is also offered on race morning at the Filter Beds parking lot for out-of-town participants. A dynamic warm-up is planned in partnership with Annex Victoria.
All proceeds from the Tall Tree 10K go directly to the Redd Fish Restoration Society, a local charity working since 1995 to protect and restore ecosystems for wild salmon by combining science, Indigenous knowledge, and hands-on restoration.
