Tall Tree 10K
The Tall Tree 10K is the second annual 10 km race held at Elk / Beaver Lake Regional Park, Filter Beds Parking Lot, Beaver Lake Road, Victoria, BC, Canada. The event is organized by Tall Tree Health, lists sponsors including Outway, Mateina Yerba, Quality Foods, Sprout Family Health and myHealthspan, and supports Redd Fish Restoration in Ucluelet.
The course is described as flat and scenic, running through forest and along lakeside trails around Elk Lake. The route includes approximately one kilometre exposed to highway noise. A water station is placed at the 5 km mark. Organizers encourage participants to bring reusable water bottles; a limited number of paper cups will be available to reduce single use waste.
The race package includes a handcrafted edible cookie finisher medal by Martha's Delectables, custom performance socks in an Outway x Tall Tree design, Mateina yerba mate fuel, and additional items. Race package pick-up is available at Tall Tree Health Cordova Bay and on race morning at the Filter Beds Parking Lot.
