Tall Tree 10K
The Tall Tree 10K is a 10 km race held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park with the event centered at the Filter Beds parking lot. This is the inaugural edition of the event around Elk Lake.
The course is described as flat and scenic, mostly on lakeside trails and through forested sections with very tall trees; about one kilometre of the route runs alongside a highway. Registration starts at $50 plus taxes. Included with registration are timed results, a race bib with timing chip, Tall Tree x Outway performance socks, a finisher medal presented as an edible cookie, and post-race snacks. Race package pick-up is available in the days before the event at Tall Tree Health Cordova Bay and on race morning at the Filter Beds parking lot. All proceeds from the Tall Tree 10K go to the Redd Fish Restoration Society, which works to protect and restore ecosystems and wild salmon habitat in partnership with nuučaanuł Nations.
