About the race
Tall Tree 10K is the third annual 10 km running event held on September 12, 2027, at Elk / Beaver Lake Regional Park, Filter Beds Parking Lot on Beaver Lake Road in Victoria, BC, Canada. The event uses the motto "Run Tall. Plant Deep." The course runs around Elk Lake on mostly lakeside and forest trails.
The route is described as flat and scenic, with stretches through tall trees and approximately one kilometre of highway noise. A water station is located at the 6 km mark. Organizers operate a cup free policy to reduce single use waste; participants are asked to bring a reusable bottle, hydration vest, or other refillable vessel and use on-course fill stations. The event is presented as a not for profit with proceeds supporting Redd Fish Restoration in Ucluelet. The race package is described as curated and includes custom Tall Tree gear, performance fuel, and a unique finish reward.
