About the race
Finlayson Arm is a trail running event held at Goldstream provincial park, 2930 Trans-Canada Hwy, Victoria, BC, Canada, on September 11 and 12, 2027. The event offers multiple individual race distances and a double option.

The course is a mix of single track, double track and coastal mountain trails. Trails pass through areas with Arbutus trees and old growth forest. The run begins at the Goldstream group campsites. The route includes several notable climbs, including Mt. Finlayson, Mt. Work, and the climb from McKenzie Bight to Jocelyn Hill, with views also reported from Cascade Creek Waterfall.
Elevation gain is specified per distance: about 4,400 ft for the 28K, about 10,075 ft for the 50K, and about 13,000 ft for the 50 mile.
Registration fees are tiered and include mandatory processing charges. Example ranges shown are CA$129.75 to CA$168.61 for the 28K, CA$218.56 to CA$279.62 for the 50K, CA$329.58 to CA$390.64 for the 50 mile, and CA$418.40 to CA$501.65 for the Double. Online registration closes on September 5, 2027. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable; participants may transfer an entry into another event if the receiving event is not sold out. Fees are payable in Canadian funds. A 5% GST and 7% PST apply where applicable and an online processing fee is added. Major credit cards are accepted.
