Event Overview
The Vampire Run - Unite for Bleeding Disorders is a community-focused sports event held at Vernon Street Town Square in Downtown Roseville. The event serves as a fundraiser to support the bleeding disorders community and features a mix of running and walking activities on local trails.
Participants can choose from several event distances:
- 5K (Timed run)
- 1 Mile (Walk)
The 5K course takes runners through the trails of Roseville. All participants in the 5K receive a themed finisher medal and entry into the on-site Community Festival. The organizers suggest the use of costumes, such as capes and vampire teeth, to fit the event theme.
Festival and Activities
The event includes a Community Festival that features various entertainment options included in the registration fee. Attendees can participate in carnival games, crafts, and face painting. There is also a Bleeding Disorders Remembrance Ceremony held as part of the late morning activities.
Registered participants have access to a variety of refreshments. Options include coffee from a dedicated coffee cart, juice, donuts, and other snacks. Additional food items such as sno-cones and popcorn are also provided during the festival. Children aged five and under are permitted to enter the festival area at no cost.
