2026 Rancho Cordova PAL Holiday Run
The Rancho Cordova PAL Holiday Run is a community athletic event organized by the Rancho Cordova Police Activities League. The event takes place at 2729 Prospect Park Drive and features several distances to accommodate various participants. It serves as a fundraising opportunity with options for individual registration, team participation, and donations.
Participants can choose from the following distances and categories:
- 1.2 mile Family Walk/Run (Untimed)
- 5K Adult and Youth (17 and under)
- 10K Adult and Youth (17 and under)
The event includes specialized starts for wheelchair and handcycle participants. Before the main start, a stretching session is conducted by the local Fit Body Bootcamp team. The first 300 individuals to register for the event receive a Santa hat.
In addition to the races, the venue hosts a Holiday Village featuring local vendors and sponsors. There is also a community toy drive held on-site; the organizers collect new, unwrapped toys to be distributed to local youth. Pre-race coordination includes packet pickup opportunities on the day before the event at Rancho Cordova City Hall, as well as same-day pickup.
