Valnova Turkey Trot
The Valnova Turkey Trot is a community running event on November 21, 2026 in Eagle, Idaho. The route starts and ends at the Trail Head Pavilion in front of the Glencara Recreation Village at Valnova.
The event offers the following distances:
- 1 Mile Fun Run for ages 12 and under with an adult
- 5K Walk/Run
Registration opens September 15, 2026 and closes November 14, 2026. Registration is free; a $10 donation or larger contribution is encouraged to raise funds for the Boise Rescue Mission.
The Boise Rescue Mission provides food, shelter, clothing, and services to help people recover from homelessness, and operates emergency shelters as well as food, clothing, addiction and veteran services, counseling, and medical resources.
Participants are encouraged to wear Thanksgiving attire. Prizes will be awarded for best-dressed participants in each race. Fleet Feet Treasure Valley provided equipment and event support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
