Valley Crest Trails returns in 2026 in Tarzana, Los Angeles. The event is organized by Anytime Runners, LLC and offers trail racing on the Dirt Mulholland fire road along Mulholland’s ridgeline near 3600 Reseda Blvd. The course follows a ridgeline with wide open views and passes near the Nike Missile Site overlook, with sightlines across the San Fernando Valley, surrounding canyons, and toward the Pacific Ocean.
The terrain is a mix of rolling sections, steady climbs, and a fast but demanding downhill finish. The route is fully exposed from start to finish with little to no shade. Being held in mid July, the race will take place in hot, dry summer conditions; heat and reflected road surface can increase thermal stress during the event. Every participant will receive an official race shirt and a finisher medal.

In the case of active wildfires, elevated fire danger, hazardous air quality, or permit issues, the race may be modified, postponed, or canceled.
