5k Fun Run at El Segundo Brewing Co
The California Brewery Running Series presents an untimed 5 km event in El Segundo. Participants can run, walk, or jog a course that starts and finishes at the El Segundo Brewing Company taproom. The route is an open course, meaning roads are not closed to traffic, and participants must follow all traffic laws. The path is clearly marked and leads through the surrounding neighborhood.
Registration for the event includes several items for participants:
- 5 km fun run or walk
- One craft beer at the finish line (or a non-alcoholic beverage)
- Collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag
- Access to post-run activities, including music, games, and prizes
The event is held in a rain-or-shine format. If outdoor conditions are unsafe for running, the social gathering at the brewery still takes place. There is no bag check available on-site, and participants are required to bring a photo ID. Dogs and strollers are permitted on the course but must follow brewery policies.
A portion of the proceeds from the event supports local nonprofit organizations such as East LA Rising, Radiate Motivate, and Alma Family Services. These organizations provide youth programs, community coaching, and support for families and individuals with developmental or emotional challenges.
