Event Overview
The Valerie Stevens Memorial Scholarship Run/Walk is a fundraising event taking place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Bridgeport, Illinois. Events and Fees
The in-person events take place at Lanterman Park, located at 349 Park St.
- 5K Run/Walk: Registration fee is $20.
- 10K Run/Walk: Registration fee is $30.
The registration price for both in-person events increases after February 28, 2026. A participant shirt is included, but shirt size is only guaranteed for registrations submitted by March 29th.
Virtual participation options are also available.
- Virtual 5K: Registration fee is $25.
- Virtual 10K: Registration fee is $35.
Registration for the virtual events closes on April 24, 2026.
Awards and Course
For the in-person 5K, awards are given to the first overall male and female finishers, as well as winners in multiple age groups. For the 10K, awards are given to the top three male and female finishers. The 10K course consists of two laps of the 5K route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
