White Squirrel Triathlon
The White Squirrel Triathlon is scheduled for August 8, 2026, in Olney, Illinois, at Musgrove Park and Aquatic Center. The event follows a sprint format with three sequential disciplines held at the same venue.
The course distances are:
- 200 meter swim
- 14.2 mile bike ride
- 3.1 mile run
Helmets are required for the bike portion.
The event includes multiple entry categories. Individual age group competition is offered. There are Zeus and Xena divisions where Zeus is for males weighing 200 pounds or more and Xena is for females weighing 150 pounds or more. A team category allows teams of two or three persons and may be male, female, or coed.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, age group award winners, and the top three teams. Registration opens January 23, 2026 and closes August 7, 2026. The stated registration fee is $65.00.
Youth eligibility is specified: youth aged 10 or 11 by race day may swim, run, or both on a team. Youth aged 12 by race day may compete in any or all disciplines as an age grouper or as a team member. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
