Valentine's Day 5K and 10K : Dune Peninsula, Tacoma

This event offers two distances on Saturday, February 13, 2027, at the Dune Peninsula in Pt Defiance Park (5361 Yacht Club Rd, Tacoma, WA). Registration is open from November 16, 2026 through February 13, 2027, with tiered entry fees that change by date. Participants may choose to opt out of receiving a race t-shirt to reduce the fee by $15.

Race amenities included with registration are a race t-shirt (if selected), a finisher medal, and a commemorative race bib. The course is an out and back route that runs toward Point Ruston on paved trails, includes water stations, and is stroller friendly. Dogs are welcome but must remain on leash and under the handler’s control for the entire event; handlers are responsible for their dogs’ behavior.

Timing is electronic; results will be chip timed and shared after the event. The top male, top female, and top non-binary participant from each distance will be recognized. Packet pickup is available the day before at Dune Peninsula or on race morning; day-of registration may be offered if capacity has not been reached.
