The event uses chip timing and awards chocolate finisher medals. Couples must register together and must cross the finish line together; there is an award for the fastest couple. Awards also include first female and first male overall runners, age-group prizes for runners in 10-year increments (19 & under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 & over), and first female and first male walkers overall.
