Event Overview
The 23rd Annual Valentine Run/Walk is a fundraising event organized by Legal Services of Northern California. The theme for the 2026 edition is "Race for Justice."

The event takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The race starts behind Country Club Plaza Mall at 2310 Watt Avenue in Sacramento, California. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before, Friday, February 13, at Fleet Feet located at 2311 J Street in Sacramento.
Distances and Categories
Multiple race categories are available:
- A timed 4 Mile run/walk.
- A non-competitive 1.8 Mile run/walk.
- A Virtual Runner option for either the 1.8 or 4-mile distance.
- A Kid's Race.
- A Virtual Kids Run for a 1/4-mile distance.
Race-day registration and packet pickup open at 6:30 AM. The Kids' Race starts at 8:00 AM, followed by the start of the 4-Mile and 1.8 Mile races at 8:30 AM.
Registration and Pricing
Standard registration fees for the adult distances (4 Mile, 1.8 Mile, Virtual Runner) range from $45 during early registration to $56 for late registration. Registration for the Kid's Race and Virtual Kids Run is $25. The event is also part of a bundled offering called the "Three Pack RUNdle," which includes entry to this and two other Sacramento running events.
