USA Beach Running Championships, Cocoa Beach
The USA Beach Running Championships take place on May 30, 2027 at Shepard Park in Cocoa Beach, 200 East Cocoa Beach Causeway. The event uses a low-tide, out and back course on hard packed sand.
Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
The event is open to all runners with no qualifying requirement. Walkers are welcome in the 5K and 10K; walkers are not permitted in the 15K. A barefoot division is offered for all distances and shoes are optional in that division.
There is a three hour course time limit. Medals are awarded to all finishers in the 5K, 10K, and 15K. Limited event registrations may be taken at packet pickup after online registration closes, and there is a walk-up registration option with posted fees for Saturday: 10K $80, 15K $90, 5K $45. The first 600 entrants at packet pickup receive an embroidered logo running cap.
A post-race awards party on the beach follows the competition and includes music and beverages such as champagne and mimosas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
