US Road Running - Winding Cypress

Event Overview

The Medal Madness event offers three running distances on a single day in Naples, Florida. The races take place at Eagle Lakes Community Park.

Distances

Participants can choose from three distances:

• 5K

• **10K**
  

• Half Marathon (13.1 miles)

Course Details

All courses are out-and-back on asphalt. The 5K and 10K share a 1.56-mile loop. The 5K completes this loop once, while the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon uses a separate 1.64-mile loop, which is completed four times. There is a 3-hour and 30-minute time limit for the course.

Event Information

The start line is located near the tennis courts at the park. Bathrooms are available in a pavilion by the start. All runners must register online; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race.

Additional Features

All finishers receive a themed medal. The event encourages, but does not require, costumes. A group photo is taken at the start of each race, and a best costume award is presented.
