Event Overview
Haunted 5K, 10K & Half Marathon takes place on October 17, 2026 at Halyburton Park, 4099 S 17th St, Wilmington, NC 28412, United States.
The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register online through RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Course and Logistics
The races use a paved course with an out-and-back format.
For the 5K:
- The basic course section is 0.78 miles
- The out-and-back is 1.56 miles
- The 5K completes this out-and-back section two times
For the Half Marathon:
- The basic course section is 1.09 miles
- The out-and-back is 2.18 miles
- The Half Marathon completes this out-and-back section six times
Participants are asked to park at the Lowell Riverfront Dog Park.
Packet pickup opens shortly before the race and closes shortly before the start.
Extras and Recognition
Finishers receive medals. There are also awards and a costume feature connected to the event. Shirts and other gear are available through a separate gear shop. Points can be earned as part of a series linked to US Road Running. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
