Event Information
The Haunted 5K, 10K & 13.1M event takes place in Wilmington, North Carolina, at Halyburton Park. The date is October 17, 2026.
Participants can register for one of three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All races share the same start location and a combined time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Packet pickup for runners begins 30 minutes before the race start and closes 10 minutes before it begins. Registration must be completed online in advance; there is no on-site registration on the day of the event.
The courses are structured as out-and-back loops on a shared route. The 5K course uses a 0.78-mile out-and-back segment, which runners complete twice. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09-mile out-and-back segment, which runners complete six times. Parking is available near the starting line.
