Event Overview
US Road Running organizes a variety of distance options as part of a recurring race series in Springdale, Arkansas. This event includes three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
The event starts near the splash pad located at 7341 W Downum Rd. Participation requires pre-registration through the RunSignup platform, as on-site registration is not available. Packet pickup occurs at the event location shortly before the start.
Course Layout
The race utilizes an out-and-back course design. Each distance follows a specific loop pattern to complete the total mileage:
The 5K course consists of two laps of a 1.56-mile out-and-back route. The 10K course follows this same route, requiring participants to complete the out-and-back four times.
For the Half Marathon, the course uses a different segment measuring 2.18 miles for the out-and-back. Runners in this category must complete the loop a total of six times. There is a general course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants.
Participation Details
Participants are encouraged to take part in the best costume competition, and themed finisher medals are provided upon completion of the race.
