Trifest for MS
Trifest for MS is a three-day triathlon event held as the 15th annual HOMECOMING on Sept. 4, 5 and 6. The program includes youth triathlons, super sprint, sprint, Olympic and aquabike races, corporate relay competition, and relay team formats. New offerings include a Mini Trifesta 24.3 for youth course plus sprint and super sprint distances for ages 12 and up, a Trifesta 54.5 Relay for teams of two or three, and fundraising options available at registration checkout.
Distances and race formats include:
- Kids 5-8: 25yd swim, 1mi bike, 0.5mi run
- Kids 9-15: 75yd swim, 2mi bike, 1mi run
- Super Sprint (AG): 200yd swim, 3.75mi bike, 1mi run
- Sprint (AG): 400m swim, 13mi bike, 5k run
- Olympic F1 (AG): 800m swim, 13mi bike, 5k run, 700m swim, 13mi bike, 5k run
- Olympic Aquabike: 800m swim, 13mi bike, 700m swim, 13mi bike
- Celebrate! AR Corporate Relay Sprint: 400m swim, 13mi bike, 5k run
Para divisions for several races are limited to a maximum of 15 racers. Relays of two or three people are allowed in most triathlon events; aquabike and youth triathlons are exceptions. Minimum age categories are defined for each race format and ages are determined by age at the end of the year.
Packet pickup takes place at the race site on Friday, Sept. 4. At check-in, athletes must show a USAT card or pay a one-day pass; waivers and photo ID are required for validation. USAT members do not need to sign the waiver. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
