Worst Race Ever
Worst Race Ever is a themed 5K held in Bentonville, Arkansas on September 12, 2026. The event is presented by Run Bentonville and staged at Old Tiger Track, 517 Tiger Blvd. The race adopts a tongue-in-cheek approach to common runner complaints while offering a standard 5 kilometer course and a published course map.
Dogs are not allowed on the race course for safety reasons. Registration has a base fee of $35 with a higher fee at packet pickup; processing fees apply. Registrations made by August 12, 2026 are guaranteed a race shirt. Race packets are available for pickup at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC on September 3 and September 4 and include a race shirt, a bib with an attached timing chip, and a finisher medal.
Awards are given by gun time to the top three male and female finishers overall, the top male and female masters (age 50 and over), and the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups from 14 and under through 70 and over.
