Worst Race Ever
Worst Race Ever is a chipped-time 5K held at Old Tiger Track, located at 517 Tiger Blvd, Bentonville, AR. The event is intentionally themed to mimic common race mishaps and pokes fun at the way some non-running family members refer to short races as a marathon.
The event date is September 12, 2026. Registration before August 12, 2026 guarantees a race shirt. Standard registration is listed at $35 and registration at packet pickup is listed at $45. Packet pickup is scheduled at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC on September 3 and September 4, with published pickup hours.
Participants receive a race packet that contains a shirt, a bag of assorted items, and a bib with the timing chip attached. The timing chip is attached to the bib and should remain in place. A finisher medal is provided at the finish for those who complete the race. Dogs are not allowed on the race course for safety reasons.
Volunteers are used for course marshaling and distributing finisher medals at the finish line. Parking for the event is available in nearby lots including the Bentonville School Administration parking lot and the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School lot; parking adjacent to the track will not be available because of the start and finish line setup.
