Worst Race Ever
Worst Race Ever is a themed, timed 5K road race held on September 12, 2026 at Old Tiger Track, 517 Tiger Blvd, Bentonville, AR. The event uses chip timing with the timing chip attached to the race bib; participants should affix the bib to the front of their outermost layer and not remove the chip.
The event presents a playful theme that intentionally mimics common race complaints and jokes about non running family members calling a 5K a "marathon." Dogs are not allowed on the race course for safety reasons.
Base registration pricing is listed at $35 with a higher fee for registration at packet pickup. Registrations received by August 12, 2026 are guaranteed a shirt. Packet pickup is scheduled at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC, 2517 SE Best Lane, with sessions on September 3 and September 4; specific pickup hours are provided by the organizer.
Finishers receive a medal and a participant bag. The race materials include a race bib and other small items; food availability such as tacos is noted as possible but not confirmed.
