Worst Race Ever
The Worst Race Ever is a timed, chip timed 5K held at Old Tiger Track (517 Tiger Blvd, Bentonville, AR) on September 12, 2026. The event intentionally parodies common race frustrations and this year highlights the theme of family members who call a 5K a "marathon."
Registration is listed at $35 for standard entry and $45 for registration at packet pickup. Registrations completed by August 12, 2026 are guaranteed a shirt. The event uses electronic timing with the timing chip attached to the race bib.
Packet pickup is at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC. Scheduled pickup dates and times are September 3, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and September 4, 8:00am to 6:00pm. Race packets include a shirt, a bag with items, and a race bib; a finisher medal is provided at the finish for participants who complete the course.
Race-day parking is not available beside the track; available parking areas include the Bentonville School Administration lot and the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School lot. Dogs are not allowed on the race course for safety reasons. The event lists volunteers needed for course marshals and finish line support.
