Event details
The Medal Madness event is scheduled for September 19, 2026, at John Slidell Park in Slidell, Louisiana (105 Robert Blvd, 70458). The event offers the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All participants must register online via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A packet pickup window begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts. The race has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Finisher medals, shirts and gear, awards, series points, and a best-costume category are listed as part of the event offerings.
Course and logistics
Courses are run on out-and-back segments. The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back loop, with the 5K completing that loop twice and the 10K completing it four times. The half marathon uses a separate out-and-back loop repeated six times. Parking is available at a pinned location on the event map that is within walking distance of the start and finish area.
