About the race
The Northshore Half Marathon is a race weekend in Mandeville, Louisiana held October 10 to October 11, 2026. Events are based at Fontainebleau State Park and use nearby streets and trails around Old Mandeville.
The half marathon and 10 miler start and finish beneath large moss‑covered oak trees and run through spectator-lined historic sections of Old Mandeville. Those courses also follow Lakeshore Drive and use the Tammany Trace. The terrain is described as flat and conducive to fast times, and some participants treat this event as a goal race for personal bests. A shorter race, the Jockamo IPA 5K, is included in the weekend schedule.
The weekend includes post‑race activity called the Abita Post Race Party. The location is a short drive from New Orleans and Baton Rouge, making the venue accessible for runners traveling from those cities. The event program includes multiple race options and assisted categories for the half, 10 miler, and 5K.
