Northshore Half Marathon
The Northshore event takes place on 10/10/2026 and 10/11/2026 at Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville, Louisiana. It includes multiple race options:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- 10 Miler - 10 miles
- Jockamo IPA 5K - 5 km
- Assisted Half - 13.1 miles
- Assisted 10 Miler - 10 miles
- Assisted 5K - 5 km
All courses start and finish under large moss-covered live oaks. The half marathon and 10 miler run through historic Old Mandeville, along Lakeshore Drive and the Tammany Trace, and follow the Lake Pontchartrain waterfront. Spectator-lined streets and parkland scenery are part of the routes.
The courses are flat and often produce fast times; many participants report personal bests. Typical conditions around the event are cooler than the preceding summer months in South Louisiana. Registration opens in May and fees vary by race.
A post-race gathering is held near the lake with food vendors, live music, and space for picnics and drinks. Historic Old Mandeville and Fontainebleau State Park are a short drive from New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
