The Arc of Pearl River County 5k Glow Run
The event takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Picayune, Mississippi at 801 Goodyear Blvd. It includes two distances:
- 5K
- 1 mile
The 5K route is a certified USATF course. The event benefits The Arc of Pearl River County; the organizer states that 100% of proceeds support the organization’s work for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Organizers will award special prizes for participants judged brightest, flashiest, or most reflective.
Registration items and on-site features
5K registrants receive a goody bag with a race T-shirt, glow sticks/necklaces, a race bib, a participant medal, and complimentary water and fruit during and after the race. 1-mile fun run registrants receive glow sticks/necklaces, a race bib, and a participant medal (no T-shirt included).
The start and finish are in a commons area that will include food trucks, a snowball stand, a drink tent, a DJ on stage, glow games, face painting, and a photo booth.
