Event details
The Medal Madness 5K & 13.1 takes place on October 31, 2026, at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, NC. The event includes two race distances:
- 5K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. A course time limit of 3:00 hours is in place. The event lists finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume prize, series points, and awards.
Course and logistics
The course surface is concrete. Parking is located at the playground on the north side of the park, and bathrooms are located by the playground. Course formats described on the event page are out-and-back segments:
- 5K uses a 0.78 mile out-and-back segment, repeated two times.
- Half Marathon uses a 1.09 mile out-and-back segment (2.18 miles round trip), repeated six times.
